As the Mayor of Budapest, I’d like to welcome all the participants.
Budapest is the host of the “4 Cities Tournament” this year. This is the 6th time after it was first held in 1996.
I’d like to congratulate to the athletes for their efforts and their achievements. Now, they will represent our city, Budapest, at this event.
Budapest is a hospitable town and a excellent venue for many sporting events. Is our top priority to promote youth sports. This event is a great opportunity for the 16-year-olds to face a challenge and compete. All the events are organized in high-quality facilities, and the participants, altogether four hundred of them, can also visit the attractions and cultural values of Budapest.
I wish everyone good time, excellent results and safe competition. I also believe that new friendships will be made amongst the young people from different nations. I am confident that you will spend pleasant days in our city and return home with unforgettable memories of our Budapest.
